Technical Sales Representative
Seeking Local Candidates - Compton
G2 Axle & Gear is a leading supplier of drive train products to the aftermarket. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong communication skills to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in drive train related components. This position will involve answering incoming phone calls and e-mails, assisting customers with technical/installation questions, order entry, representing our products at consumer and trade shows, as well as assisting with product development.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Responds to customer calls regarding product pricing, sales, order tracking and returns
- Being aware and responsible for sales goals
- Making outbound sales calls
- Travel to all necessary shows, events, and customer calls
- Attending trade shows as a sales representative as well as aide in set up / tear down
- Conducting training seminars for customers
- Entering sales orders and creating RGA numbers as required
- Researching and resolving customer packaging and/or shipping discrepancies
- Keeping accurate record of calls
- Entering technical issues in call log as they occur
- Identifying problems and reporting them to a supervisor
- Adhere to and support all company policies / procedures
- Cooperate with all members of management & co-workers
- Commit to good attendance and punctuality
The ideal candidate will posses the following skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2+ years of sales support experience at similar level
- Good communications skills
- Possess good computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Team player, able to work with variety of personalities
- Drive train product knowledge a must
